Digi Bells Blog Hop + Videos

Happy Friday! Welcome to the Digi Bells Blog Hop! Although my Guest Term is over I am excited to be part of this fun hop and to share  the newly released digital images for Digi Bells! This month there are 2 images that are being released.

If you didn’t come here from Alethea’s blog the head over to the start of the hop at the Digi Bells Blog.

By leaving a comment at each stop of the hop, you have a chance to win these sweet digital images.

Let’s get started. First we have

 Mommy's Little Helper

This is so darn sweet :) It reminds me of the days of feeding my wee boys. Oh the preparing and mashing and freezing in little ice-cube trays. I enjoyed the whole process. Especially feeding them and watching their reactions to new foods!

I wanted to create an Art Journal page for myself using this image so I printed it so that it would fit my page which is 6x8”. This is the wonderful thing about digital images. They can be sized to perfectly fit whatever project you are creating.

When I create pages for my Art Journal, I tend to use bits and pieces of patterned paper from my stash. Whether it is a whole page which I am hoarding, or a wee bit that I just couldn’t bear to throw away, I am able to use it up in my art journal. These papers came from an old MME paper pack. The large butterfly  and wreath were die-cut using Whiff of Joy dies. They are  no longer available but perhaps you already have them or if not there are similar ones still on the market. The smaller butterflies were made with a Martha Stewart punch.

Tea Set Accessory

I paired this sweet Tea Accessory set up with an old favorite image from Whiff of Joy that is now a new digital stamp. So happy to color this friend up again :) One of my most favorite images ever. Again, this is an art journal page celebrating one of my favorite things in the world: Tea!

I used some old Stampin’ Up paper that I have been keeping for far too long. I also paired it up with some die-cuts. The doily was from Whiff of Joy but sadly is not available anymore. The same goes with the sentiment. The upper border was cut from a die from MFT but I can’t find it on the web-site. There are many comparable dies that you can find that will give the same look. The gems were from Stampin’ Up and the $ store. The crochet flower was gifted to me many moons ago and I am finally going to stop hoarding it.

When creating my page, I made it multi-dimensional. Meaning I cut the image many times and layered one over top the other to create dimension. I created a video sharing how I did it. You can see it and a coloration video below. This is very basic. You could create many more layers and height if you want and if you are patient!

You far outdid yourself on these cards. These images are precious to begin with but you've enhanced them with your gorgeous coloring ability, papers and design. I love both of them, but you caught my eye with using the tea set as the background on your second card. What a fabulous idea. I love the colors you used on the little helper image card. Both are outrageously wonderful!
