Jawsome Surprise | Lawn Fawn Stamps

Happy Monday! Hope that your week has gotten off to a great start. We are experiencing a heat wave here in Montreal. The days feel like the middle of the Summer rather than the beginning of Fall! Crazy times.

I have a fun little mini folded card to share with you that I made for my sweet nephew. In the video (which you will find below) I will explain why I made it this way and why I included the stamps that I did!

For now, here are each individual panel:

Christmas Series 2017 | Day #1 Little Angel

Happy day and welcome to my Day #1 of my Christmas vidoe series for 2017. I get this started pretty early so that you have time to get your projects done as well!  Last year I thought I had started early enough but really started feeling the time crunch as Christmas seemed to race towards me at a suprisingly fast pace! Hence, the first video is here and we are still in September; but seriously, it will be Christmas before you know it!

I will be posting videos in this series up to the end/possible beginning of December and will do my best to make it a weekly occurence!

To start off my series, I wanted to use this gorgeous new stamp from Whimsy that was illustrated by Crissy Armstrong. I challenged myself to a no-lines coloring and am ever so pleased with how it all turned out. This will be a page in my December Daily album this year and features the gorgeous gold-foil die cuts that I think are so elegant.

Halloween 2017 |Whimsy Monster Tages + Video

Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by!  If you also follow me on my Instagram you will know that I am in the midst of a HUGE kitchen reno! After many years of talking about it, putting it on hold last year, it is finally HAPPENING! We are all beyond excited and I am of course going crazy with design choices and decisions! I may create a dedicated post here to talk about it but for now, if you follow me on Instagram: inkspots  - you will get snippets of what is happening!

I have a fun set of tags and one picture frame insert to share with you and they all feature the adorable new clear stamp set from Whimsy Stamps. These cuties would look great on a variety of Halloween crafty makes. I made a tag and a frame insert but you could create a trifold card, treat boxes or bags or even a fun Halloween banner! The possiblitlies are endless!

I am going to add this to a picture frame for my Halloween decor. The background is a digital paper from Whimsy stamps that I may be slightly obsessing over lately. It is so darned PERFECT!

All images were stamped on my favorite Bristal Strathmore watercolor paper that pairs up fabulously with Zig Clean Color real brush markers. I can’t believe how much of a difference this paper makes to my coloration. It is well worth picking up and checking out for yourself!

Craft Haul 2017

Good morning or afternoon my lovelies! I am posting my latest Craft Haul. I am getting ready for Christmas….at least in my crafty life! For the past few years, I have created a Christmas video series sharing the crafty makes that I create for my family, friends, for my Christmas cards and gift giving as well as for my December Daily album.

Lawn Fawn has an awesome, mega release for Fall & Winter this year and I went a little crazy with all the Christmas/Winter ones. I can’t wait to share what I have planned for this release and I really hope to inspire you to craft your own little treasures this year! I did buy these items in two separte hauls…….obviously the restraint that I practiced the first time I shopped did not carry through to the second time!

I do plan to use more than just Lawn Fawn in my Christma series…….Whimsy has some GORGEOUS Christmas themed products that have just released and there is more to come next month! As well, there are so sweet things that I have been picking up here and there over the year.

T’is Near Halloween | Whimsy Art Journal Page +Video

Happy Friday! I have a new video to share with you today that features one of the new Whimsy Digital images released today! I totally adore this cute little witch with her lovely, long, flowing curly hair. I knew that she would look great featured on an Art Journal page. It didn’t take long for me to find the perfect backgound for her – it is one of Whimsy’s digital papers. This made it super easy to merge it together with the image as well as a Whimsy Digital sentiment that was PERFECTION for the page. I really love when crafty things come together so nicely as easily.

The video is basically a coloration video with a little bit of this & that thrown in – Enjoy!

Getting Ready for Christmas!!!

Happy Friday my lovelies! Yes, I am that person. I am already starting to dream about Chrismas and my December Daily album for this year! If you have followed me for a while, you know that I love, love to incorporate my papercrafting and stamping with my December Daily album to create a unique and personal album that documents our Christmas together as a family.

As I am getting to be an old pro about things now, I start ordering the products NOW to make sure that I am not scrambling at the last moment. As soon as I saw the new Lawn Fawn release, I eagerly contemplated which products I should get. I keep in mind that I need to think about what I already have and how I can make old sets work with the new ones.

Last year started sharing which products I was going to be using for my annual Christmas Video series. A lot of you told me that you liked knowing in advance so that if you were inspired by my creations, you would have the products available so that you could make some too!

Without furthur ado, here are the Lawn Fawn products that I have just purchased and some that I already have and will be combining to use this season!

Have a great day and weekend! I will be working on some Halloween projects this weekend.(never papercrafitng the season I am currently in)

Halloween 2017–Sleepy Hollow |Whimsy Stamps

Happy day! I have another Halloween card to share with you and it features an incredible new die set from Whimsy’s new release! This is the Headless Horseman die set but I keep calling it the Sleepy Hollow die set….hence the blog post title :)

I always forget how fast it is to create a card if you don’t actually have to color anything! I made this card in record time!

I love, love this sentiment and how beautifuly it cuts out!

The spooky background was so much fun to make. I love playing with distress inks. At first it just looks rubbish but as you keep working on it, it turns into something amazing!
