You Are Amazing | Whimsy Stamps January Release

Happy Thursday! I am back with a new card and my first video for 2017! It features a couple of the new release products from Whimsy Stamps as well as a Cardbuilder Hearts of Love Die set that was released last month. It is a real “must-have”! The new image Bundled Up illustrated by Kirsten Winkelbauer is absolutely brilliant. I love, love the size of this stamp and it was such fun to color! The new clear stamp sentiment set You Are is another must have in a cardmaker’s collection. You can mix and match the words to create your very own personalized sentiment or phrase.

I let the image be the focal point of the card but the sentiment balances out the left side really nicely. I combined different colors for the sentiment and I liked how it turned out. The fonts are crazy wonderful in this set and they emboss super well.

I created my own 3-D embellsment by die-cutting the heart shape out of some coordinating cardstock and then adding glossy accents over top. I sprinkled some very fine glitter onto it while it was still wet. It is super sparkley!

Whimsy January Digital Release

Happy Sunday and Happy New Year! It has been a bit of time since I last posted! I did spend the Christmas break taking a break. For the most part, I stayed away from my computer and my craft room. It was a much needed rest and I am ready to start back into the swing of things once the kids go back to school tomorrow!

I didhowever, find a pocket of ttime to make one or two projects. I wanted to share this Valentine day card I made using some of the amazing new digital release products from Whimsy Stamps.

I uploaded the digital papers, image and sentiments and then resized them and layered them until I had a A2 sized card-top to print. You can see this explanined in more depth in my vidoe –>HERE.

I then colored it up with my copic markers and used some die-cut embellishments and my card was done!

Christmas Series 2016 | Christmas Project Montage

Happy Friday and Happy Day before Christmas Eve!

I have been very busy with family, friends and various groups that I volunteer for. I did not get a chance to film the last tutorial for my Christmas series. I do apologize but I di make the conscious decision to just take a breath and realize that you would all understand :) I try to be present all during the Advent season because the 25th is just one day out of many that make up the Christmas season. There are a lot of things that I planned to do that I didn’t get a chance to get to. That’s okay because the important stuff is all taken care of and I think I would better serve my friends and family by being PRESENT!

Instead, I did put together a montage of the projects that I did work on this last month and that I did not blog or post. So, I hope that you will be inspired by them and enjoy watching :)
